Four stages, creche to Primary 6

We teach a broad international curriculum from Nursery to Primary 6: a play-based early years programme, then a structured primary programme. Christian teaching runs alongside it, so children grow in faith and character as well as in their books. Here is what each stage looks like day to day.

Creche children playing and learning with their carer

3 months to 2 years

Creche

Our babies and toddlers. The early years programme starts at age 3, so the creche has its own care and play programme. Tell us how your child feeds and sleeps at home, and the caregivers will stick to it.

Nursery 1 and 2 · 2 to 4 years

Nursery

Nursery is where children start talking more, playing with other children and doing little things for themselves. From age 3 they follow our early years programme, which is built around purposeful play: stories, songs, number games, building, drawing and lots of talking.

KG 1 and KG 2 · 4 to 6 years

Kindergarten

Still the early years programme, but lessons get more regular and there is more reading, writing and number work, with plenty of play kept in. By the end of KG 2 we want every child ready for Primary 1.

Primary 1 to 6 · 6 to 12 years

Primary

Six years of primary, from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Children are taught to understand ideas rather than just memorise them, and to explain how they got their answer. Sport and clubs are part of the week too.

How we assess

Progress you can see

Assessment happens in the classroom. Teachers watch, ask questions, read with children, and mark their work and projects through the term. At the end of each term you get a written report, and you can sit down with the class teacher to go through it.

Faith in the classroom

Growing in wisdom and in favour

Christian teaching is part of the school week, not an add-on. There is a devotion every week, children learn Bible stories, and teachers build honesty, responsibility, compassion and respect into ordinary lessons. We want children to grow the way Luke 2:52 describes: in wisdom, in stature, and in favour with God and people.

Not sure which class fits?

Tell us how old your child is, or which class they are in now, and we will point you to the right one.
